PM0010 - Aux Boilers
"The scope of supply includes the design, material, fabrication, inspection, testing, and delivery of two (2) oil-fired fire tube boilers.
Boilers shall be supplied and delivered, pre-assembled, and pre-wired to the extent practical for shipping, and ready for operation, including all necessary accessories and all miscellaneous materials, and parts. The boilers shall be ready for immediate mounting on power house floor or simple foundation and for attachment of water, fuel, electrical, vent and blow down piping and wiring connections
Each packaged boiler assembly shall include but is not limited to the following components and systems: oil-fired fire tube boiler complete with a Low NOx #2 oil burner and all other auxiliaries mounted on a painted structural steel frame; boiler insulation and preformed sheet metal lagging; fuel oil pump, piping and valves; microprocessor monitoring and control system - manufacturer’s standard; complete electrical components including, electric motors, junction boxes, cabling/wiring and conduit on or within the packaged boiler skid; safety features as required by Section IV of the ASME BPVC and Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Compressed Gas Regulations of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador; safety guards and devices as required per OHS regulations and industry standards; breeching barometric damper, expansion joint and clean-out door; ladders and platforms as required for servicing in compliance with OHS and Newfoundland and Labrador 5/12 Regulations; boiler control narratives and Interface with PCS programming SUPPLIER; interface with plant PCS to be defined during progress of design; block diagram of the control system; recommended spare parts list for startup, commissioning, operation and maintenance; and operation and maintenance documentation."
