Contract Scope

<h1><font face="Arial">1.</font>     general</h1> <p><font face="Arial">1.1.</font>    Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Work to be provided by the Contractor shall include the provision of all management, supervision, administration, technical expertise and support, skilled labour, materials, consumables, equipment, services, tools, and each and every item of expense necessary, other than that stipulated in the Contract Documents as provided by the Company, to complete the Work of this Contract. </p> <h1><font face="Arial">2.</font>     ScHEDULE </h1> <h1>2.1.    Performance of the Work shall be in accordance with the following schedule:</h1> <p><font face="Arial">2.1.1.         </font>Work Start:  SEPT - 2015</p> <p><font face="Arial">2.1.2.</font>      Work Complete:  SEPT, 2020</p> <h1>3.     Scope </h1> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.</font>    Detailed Scope of Work to be performed by the Contractor shall include the following:</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.1.</font>          Inspection, repair and certification of  site cranes (non-mobile),monorails, below hook lifting devices (spreaders, man-baskets, forklift jibs, rigging hardware and other lifting devices as specified/required.</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.2.</font>          Technician must have the capability to direct the repairs as well as participate in the repair work.</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.3.</font>          The Contractor shall supply electrical support when required.</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.4.</font>          The Contractor shall take its day to day direction from the Company’s Industrial Maintenance Service Provider.</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.5.</font>          Complete repairs as required and report in detail for parts requirements , including OEM manufacturer and part number</p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.6.</font>          Normally, only one technician is required for preventative maintenance inspections and typical corrective repairs, however, multiple personnel are required to be equipment familiar, trained and available to avoid scheduling issues. </p> <p><font face="Arial">3.1.7.</font>          A fixed blended labour rate for the contract duration is required.</p> <h1>4.   COMPANY FURNISHED SERVICES & FACILITIES</h1> <p><font face="Arial">4.1.</font>      The Company shall provide the Contractor, at no cost, specifically for the performance of the Work of this Contract, the following Services and Facilities:</p> <p><font face="Arial">4.1.1.      </font>As per the general contract</p> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong>5.     </strong><strong>Company furnished equipment & tools</strong><strong> </strong><strong></strong></p> <p><font face="Arial">5.1.      </font>The Company shall provide the Contractor, at no cost, specifically for the performance of the Work of this Contract, the following Equipment and Tools:</p> <p><font face="Arial">5.1.1.</font>      Mechanical technicians with trade related tools</p> <p><font face="Arial">5.1.2.</font>      Test weight for Inspections with Load Testing</p> <p><strong>6.    COMPANY FURNISHED CONSUMABLES & MATERIALS </strong></p> <p><font face="Arial">6.1.<strong><font size="1">    </font></strong></font>The Company shall provide the Contractor, at no cost, specifically for the performance of the Work of this Contract, the following Equipment and Tools:</p> <p><font face="Arial">6.1.1.         </font>Full access to all cranes and hoists as installed on site.</p> <p><font face="Arial">6.1.2.</font>      All materials necessary for repair.</p> <p><strong>7.     OTHER</strong> </p> <p><font face="Arial">7.1.      </font>Contractor technician shall be qualified and comply with all requirements of the current CSA standard B167 for Overhead Travelling Cranes – Design, inspection, testing, maintenance, and safe operation, as well as Newfoundland Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. </p> <p>7..2.     Contractor technician  shall provide a signed field inspection report.  The inspection report shall identify all discrepancies associated with the current CSA standard B167 for Overhead Travelling Cranes – Design, inspection, testing, maintenance, and safe operation.  Should, as a result of the inspection, repairs be required a Field Repair Report is to be provided outlining the nature of the repairs and a detailed list of the required parts.</p> <p>7..3.   To complete the load test the Contractor shall provide a calibrated dynometer to certify the load lifted as well as a stamped engineered certificate.</p> <p>7.4.     The Contractor shall provide "Exit Interviews" complete with field report prior to leaving site. Considerations to include: all material requirements, any recommendations for modification, all follow-up work requirements, long term "health" of assets, technical support for code interpretation, review of preventative maintenance program including scope and intervals.</p> <p>7.5   The Contractor shall provide the finalized site visit report within 28 days.</p> <p>7.6.     The Company shall receive completed annual inspection certificates within 45 days.</p> <p>7..7     The Contractor shall provide proof of certification and list of qualification of it’s organization and personnel.</p> <p>7..8     To assist in cost assessment, a completion of the attached preventative maintenance schedule.</p> <p>7..9     Each site visit requires signed daily time sheets upon conclusion, as well invoicing requires all supportive documentation including timesheets.    </p>
